Adult Attention-Deficit / Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) Assessment

Is this for me?

An ADHD assessment can be appropriate when you are concerned that you are struggling with ADHD or related difficulties. In this assessment we will look to identify the ways in which you are struggling in your life and how you are feeling across the board, including any experience of ADHD symptomatology.

“I believe that ADD can be better understood if we examine people’s lives, not only bits of DNA” ― Dr Gabor Mate

This specific assessment includes:

  • Three individual sessions to review together, as much as you are comfortable with, your academic, social, family and emotional history

  • Completion of two helpful psychometrics or questionnaires, specifically the Brown Executive Function/Attention Scales (Brown EF/A) and the Symptom Checklist-90-Revised (SCL-90-R)

  • Where appropriate, a phone call with a person who spends significant time with you such as a partner, roommate or parent

  • A detailed assessment report including recommendations for support beyond the identification of ADHD, if applicable, and for any emotional difficulties

  • A fourth session together in which we can discuss the assessment formulation and your experience of the report and the recommendations
